In Nuevo Pudahuel we believe that your airport experience begins from the moment you park your car and ends the moment you depart. We are bookworms and want you to start your adventure before you board your flight. We have installed a book swap point inside each departures lounge so you travel in your imagination.

- How does it work?

It’s very simple, follow these steps:
- 1. Bring a book that you have already read and no longer need.
- 2. Place one of the recommendation stickers that you will find on the shelves on the inside cover, don’t forget to write down why you loved your book.
- 3. Place your book on the shelves for someone else to take and travel in their imagination, just like you did.
- 4. Browse the available titles on the shelves.
- 5. Choose your favourite book from those titles left behind by other passengers, it’s yours to enjoy!

It’s very simple, follow these steps:
- What are the opening hours?
- The book swap point is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- What kind of books can I swap?
- Any pre-loved book still in good condition that can be enjoyed by other passengers, this includes fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, or books in languages other than Spanish for international travellers.
- I don’t know what to write on the sticker, can you help?
- Why did you love your book? What did it make you feel? Why should someone else read it? It’s as simple as that, there is no wrong answer.
- I’m a frequent flyer and I swapped a book on my last trip, now I’d like to swap it again for someone else to enjoy but the recommendation sticker is already filled in, what do I do?
- Just take a new sticker and place it elsewhere (ISBN page, title page, etc), now write your recommendation.
- I don’t have a pre-loved book to swap on this occasion, what can I do?
- If you don’t currently have a book to swap, then you are very welcome to participate in the project on your next visit to the airport. The idea is for everyone to exchange a book for another.
- Is the book swap project free?
- Yes, it is. Just swap one book for another and enjoy.
