Daniela is a single mother. She endured COVID-19. Finding work has been challenging. This was the first emergency house we built with the support of volunteers from Nuevo Pudahuel, Dirección de Aeropuertos MOP, ConeTec, Soletanche Bachy, Bitumix and VCGP - Astaldi. Get to know her story!
According to the 2017 census of the National Institute of Statistics, 14% of the population is in a situation of overcrowded housing in the commune of Pudahuel (29,800 people). It is for this reason that the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité and Nuevo Pudahuel, have created an alliance with TECHO-Chile to provide the resources to build 64 houses that will be developed with volunteers. This will provide a decent place for these families, although transitory, that will allow them to get out of the emergency they are living in this crisis.
