15/05/2024 • The five new spaces, designed by the renowned Italian studio Pininfarina, will provide passengers with exclusive gastronomy, bar, showers, and entertainment in the different boarding buildings of the International Terminal (T2).

Santiago, May 15th, 2024.- Santiago Airport and Primeclass Pacífico officially inaugurated their five new VIP lounges in the International Terminal - the only lounges in the world designed by the renowned Pininfarina studio, an Italian style icon and a global reference in architecture and industrial design, in collaboration with the local studio Grupo Arquitectos.

This new service proposal arises from the alliance between TAV OS, the world’s leading VIP lounge operator, and Servicios Aeroportuarios, the largest representative of this industry in Chile, with the aim of providing unique spaces that offer a comfortable stay and a comfortable experience while waiting for your flights.

The rooms have a fine cuisine offer, bar featuring signature cocktails, high-speed Wi-Fi, lockers for luggage storage, meeting and coworking rooms for all those who need to work during their waiting time, showers, and rest areas with different levels of privacy.

The lounges are in key points of the International Terminal (T2), four of them are in each of the boarding buildings for overseas travel, allowing passengers to be very close to their boarding gate while enjoying exclusive amenities: Isla de Pascua lounge in the T2-C building, Desierto lounge in the T2-D building, Lagos lounge in the T2-E building and Patagonia lounge in the T2-F building. The fifth lounge, Metropolis, is in the arrivals area, available for those passengers who have connections between international and domestic flights, for those who need a meeting space, or simply to make use of the amenities of Primeclass Pacifico without the need for an airline ticket.

Three of the five lounges are currently open: “Isla de Pascua”, “Lagos” and “Metropolis” and soon “Desierto” and “Patagonia” will welcome passengers who need to use a comfortable space during their travels.

During the inauguration of these new areas, Nicolas Claude, CEO of Santiago Airport, pointed out that the lounges being inaugurated by Primeclass Pacifico “contribute significantly to enhancing the travel experience of our international passengers at Santiago Airport. Not only do they provide a wide range of services, including work, rest, entertainment, food, and leisure areas, but they also provide spaces that strengthen the identity and offer of each boarding building, which contributes to consolidating a high-quality airport in terms of hospitality, technology, and quality of service.”

Fabiano Fontenelle, CEO of Primeclass Pacifico added that “Pininfarina’s design is a fundamental component of Primeclass Pacifico’s service proposal, which aims to redefine the VIP lounge experience in Chile. Our guests will not only enjoy distinctive services and a privileged location at Santiago International Airport, but will also enjoy comfortable and quiet spaces, surrounded by an avant-garde, unique and first-class design environment through a subtle palette of colors, curved lines, and inspiration from the Chilean geography.”

In addition to its VIP lounges, Primeclass Pacifico offers Meet&Assist service, providing full assistance to passengers throughout their stay at the air terminal, including international police, SAG and customs, and exclusive transportation to and from the airport in high-end automobiles.
